A quick reminder, Al-Ehsan Centre (AEC) is collecting Fitra ($10.00 per person) and Zakat for distribution to the needy poor people in Bangladesh. As in the past this year, we are ready to distribute part of the early collections of Fitra (before our Eid Prayer) in Bangladesh. The Zakat and FItra donations will be distributed in remote villages in Bangladesh inshaAllah. You can still pay your Fitra prior to Eid Jamaat at Notting Hill Community Centre. EID-UL-FITRE & EID-UL-ADHA

Both Eids are the most significant festivals for Muslims. Eid-ul-fitre follows the month long fasting in Ramadan. Eid-ul Adha is celebrated on the day following the rites of the pilgrims on the day of Arafat, where pilgrims spend the day in prayer and supplication asking for the forgiveness of Allah and salvation and deliverance for themselves and others.
